On August 12, Morgan Murphy Media announced three strategic executive promotions in enhanced leadership roles, effective immediately. The appointments position the organization for continued growth and innovation across operational, digital and strategic initiatives. Among the promotions are current MAB Board Member Chris Cornelious to COO.

Your MAB is sad to pass word that longtime Saginaw radio personality Terry Lenz passed away August 6 at the age of 74. Lenz joined WSGW in 1978 and was the on-air personality for the “Four for the Morning” and “Terry and Dave in the Morning” shows, partnering with Dave Maurer. He also hosted “QuizLine” and “TradeLine”.

The Society of Broadcast Engineers announces the results of the 2025 election for the national board of directors. Kevin Trueblood, CBRE, CBNT, of Chapter 90 Southwest FL, was elected for a one-year term. Kevin previously served as SBE vice president. His term begins September 25 at the SBE National Meeting in Columbus, OH.

During the Day of Giving, the community generously donated enough money to provide 408,000 meals to families in the metro.
