MAB Foundation Scholarship
Supporting the Next Generation of Michigan Broadcasters
The MAB Foundation is dedicated to helping tomorrow's broadcasters succeed. Each year, three scholarships are awarded to college students who demonstrate passion, talent and a commitment to building a career in broadcasting, media or a related field.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must have at least one semester of school remaining after Spring 2027. Graduating seniors are not eligible.
Applicants must be enrolled at a Michigan college, university or trade school and studying broadcasting, media or a related field. Eligible areas of study may include journalism, engineering, sales, business, graphic design, marketing and other fields connected to the broadcast and media industry.
What You'll Need to Apply
Please have the following materials ready when completing your application:
- Letter of recommendation from an instructor
- Additional recommendation(s) from an internship, employer or other professional connection
- Current resume
- Student ID number
- At least two examples of school projects or professional work
- A 500-word essay, written in your own words, outlining your career goals
- Completed application information
Application Deadline
Completed applications must be submitted by Friday, January 22, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
