Midwest Communications Southern Michigan Broadcasting Scholarship
Supporting the Future of Radio and Audio in Michigan
Midwest Communications and the MAB Foundation are helping prepare the next generation of Michigan broadcasters by supporting students interested in careers in radio broadcasting and audio streaming.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must have at least one semester of school remaining after Spring 2027. Graduating seniors are not eligible.
Applicants must have an interest in radio broadcasting or audio streaming and be enrolled at a Michigan college, university or trade school.
What You'll Need to Apply
Please have the following materials ready when completing your application:
- Current resume
- Two letters of recommendation
- Student ID number
- An essay of up to 500 words, written in your own words, outlining your career goals
- Completed application information
Application Deadline
Completed applications must be submitted by Friday, January 22, 2027 at 5:00 p.m. EST. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
