T.J. Lang Joins WXYT-FM As Sideline Reporter

Audacy has announced that former NFL Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl champion T.J. Lang has joined WXYT-FM (Detroit) and the Detroit Lions Radio Network.  Lang joins Dan Miller and Lomas Brown as the sideline reporter during Lions games. Lang is also be in studio on the station each week throughout the professional football season, joining “The Morning Show with Stoney and Jansen” and “The Mike Valenti Show with Rico” on Monday and Fridays.

“As Detroit’s No. 1 sports talk station, we are excited to add T.J. to our incredible team,” said Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Detroit. “As a native Detroiter who played for Eastern Michigan University, T.J has great passion and a strong connection to our great state. His pro football experience will bring incredible insight to the station, especially on game days.”

I am excited to bring a unique perspective about the league each week, while learning as much as I can along the way.”

Lang is a graduate of Brother Rice High School in Birmingham, MI and played for Eastern Michigan University before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2009. Lang played 10 seasons in the NFL, earning his first Pro Bowl nod and a Super Bowl ring with the Packers during his eight years in Green Bay. He retired from the league in 2019 after finishing his last two years with the Lions, where he earned his second Pro Bowl nod in 2017.
