Remembering Trevor. Supporting the Next Generation of Broadcasters.

Join us as we honor Trevor Forsythe's life and commitment to broadcasting by contributing to an endowed scholarship through a generous pledge from Lilly Broadcasting and WZMQ-TV. The Trevor Forsythe WZMQ-TV Scholarship will allow his memory and passion to live on through an annual scholarship awarded to a deserving broadcast/media student at Northern Michigan University, Trevor's alma mater.

Trevor Forsythe graduated from Almont High School in 2021. He was very involved in scouting, serving in both Troop 128 of Almont and Mackinac Island Scout Service Troop 127 of Lapeer. He completed a trek at Philmont Scout Ranch and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2021.
Trevor was a “people person” and could get along with anyone. He could find the good in any situation and had a talent for getting diverse group members to get along. His love for the outdoors drew him to Northern Michigan University where he was on track to complete a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Production.
A Stephen A. Marks Foundation scholarship recipient via the MAB Foundation, Trevor spent time working as Broadcast Director and Photojournalist for WZMQ 19News in Marquette. He loved photography, was extremely creative in many art forms and had a diverse musical taste. Trevor lived in a place he loved, doing the work that he loved.
