WGHN, Inc. has sold its WGHA-AM (formerly WGHN-AM) and associated translator W235CM (Grand Haven) to Grand Rapids-based Cano's Broadcasting I, LLC.  The application was filed on May 9, 2025.

Cano's Broadcasting currently owns two stations in Michigan: WMJH-AM/W227CG (Grand Rapids) and WOAP-AM/W276CZ (Owosso).  Both the Grand Rapids and Owosso stations simulcast a Regional Mexican format under the brand name La Poderosa.  Cano's is headed by Cynthia Citlalick Cano.

WGHN is owned by Will Tieman and Wendy Hart who will continue to operate WGHN-FM in Grand Haven.  WGHA-AM is currently being operated by Cano's under a time brokerage agreement pending FCC approval of the sale.
