WJMN/WBUP-TV Expands My UP Mornings

Morgan Murphy Media’s WJMN/WBUP-TV (Marquette) has announced the expansion of the station's morning news program, "My UP Mornings." The show is expanding the reach of its live morning news show beginning on June 9, 2025.
Since its launch in September, 2024, Anchor Rebecca Bartelme has been delivering the latest overnight news, conducting in-studio interviews, and providing conversation starters to help viewers plan their day. Air Stassek joined the team in October 2024, bringing her passion for weather forecasting and a complementary personality to Bartelme.
The production crew has played a vital role in the growth of My UP Mornings. News Director Ben Raymond expressed his pride in the morning team, stating, “Our entire morning crew is fantastic! It is not easy waking up in the middle of the night to put on a two-hour morning show. It takes a lot of passion, and likely some caffeine to do what they do. It makes perfect sense to take something we’re already proud of and make it accessible to more people.”
Currently, My UP Mornings airs live on WBUP-TV (ABC) from 5 - 7 a.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Beginning June 9, the broadcast will also be available live on WJMN-TV (My Net), followed by an encore presentation from 7 - 9 a.m.
In addition to the morning show, My UP News also offers late afternoon and late evening newscasts on the two signals.
