97 lav fm logoCumulus Media's WLAV-FM (Grand Rapids) has announced a new on-air lineup following the departure of two on-air personalities.  The new schedule includes mornings with Michelle McKormick and Travis Gibbs. Jackie Green continues in middays. Afternoons will now feature Jordan Lass, coming over from sister WHTS-FM. Westwood One’s “Steve Gorman Rocks” remains in nights.

Lass, a Grand Rapids native, joined Cumulus Grand Rapids in September 2024 as APD and afternoon host at WHTS-FM. His radio journey began in Port Huron, MI (2016-2019) at Liggett's WBTI-FM and WHLS-AM/W288BT. He will also continue to hosting nights on sister WKLQ-FM.  On October 30, Lass posted: “Today marks a new chapter in my radio career. After more than ten years in Alternative and Top 40, I’m moving down the hall to transition to Classic Rock. As a Grand Rapids native, words can’t express what it means to be part of the legendary WLAV – catch me weekday afternoons from 3-7.”

Replacing Lass in afternoons on WHTS-FM is Ali Aaron, who also hosts afternoons for two other out-of-market stations for Cumulus Aaron previously handled middays at KLIF-FM (Dallas), co-hosted mornings at KRMD-FM (Shreveport) and served as MD and morning host at KQHN-FM (Shreveport).
