Gray Media's WILX-TV (Lansing) wrapped up their annual Toys for Tots campaign last week.  The event's goal is to bring smiles to children in Mid-Michigan. People were able to donate their new, unwrapped toys to either WILX or participating businesses across the region. Thousands of Mid-Michigan children will wake up to presents under the tree on Christmas thanks to those who donated this year.

Every year, WILX partners with the local Marine Corps Reserves & the Salvation Army to collect toys to help Mid-Michigan families in need. People were able to donate their new, unwrapped toys to either WILX or participating businesses across Mid-Michigan.

Distribution of the toys started this past Monday (12/15) at the Salvation Army Distribution Center in Lansing. Volunteers have already handed out thousands of gifts to families in need of assistance this holiday season.
