This past Thursday (1/29), Audacy's WWJ-AM (Detroit) held is 23rd Annual Radiothon for THAW, The Heat and Warmth Fund.  This year the effort raised $276,774 to bring warmth for Michigan families in need.

That money will be donated in the form of heating assistance for thousands of Metro Detroit families who can't afford to heat their homes or keep the lights on this winter. Many have even faced the situation of choosing between warmth or providing food and medication for their families.

The 13-hour live broadcast (6 a.m. to 7 p.m.)  featured an online auction, hourly incentives and generous listeners calling in to make those donations.
