WDET Announces Return of Big Sonic Heaven
Wayne State University’s WDET-FM has announced that it is bringing Darren Revell’s “Big Sonic Heaven” back to the local market. The show previously aired in Detroit on 96.3 WPLT (now WDVD) from 1995 to 2003 and was later resurrected on Los Angeles radio from 2007-09.

WLAV-FM (Grand Rapids) Refreshes Line-Up
The new schedule includes mornings with Michelle McKormick and Travis Gibbs. Jackie Green continues in middays. Afternoons will now feature Jordan Lass, coming over from sister WHTS-FM. Westwood One’s “Steve Gorman Rocks” remains in nights.

Audacy Launches 97.1 Detroit Sports Radio Network
Audacy announced this past Thursday (11/6) that it will launch the “97.1 Detroit Sports Radio Network,” a new, centralized hub for sports fans across Michigan on December 1. 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) will serve as the flagship station of the first-of-its-kind statewide platform produced and distributed by Audacy to unite the biggest sports voices, markets, and fans.
