Audacy has unveiled Sound Space @ Audacy Detroit on on the second floor of Hockeytown Cafe in Detroit, Michigan. The studio launched this past Wednesday Night (5/14) with an exclusive grand opening event and ribbon-cutting ceremony featured ACM’s 2025 On-Air Personality of the Year Winner and WYCD-FM hosts Josh Holleman, Rachael Hunter and Steve Grunwald.

WKQI’s Mojo Nominated for Radio Hall of Fame

Longtime WKQI-FM (Detroit) morning host Mojo, who leads the Mojo in the Morning Show, has been nominated for induction into the Radio Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class. The personality was previously nominated in 2022 and 2024.

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
