Midwest Communications Closes on WQXC/WZUU

On February 4, Midwest Communications closed on its acquisition of WQXC-FM (Allegan) and WZUU-FM (Mattawan) from Forum Communications. The deal, filed in September was approved by the FCC in December.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
