The annual Marconi Radio Awards were handed out Wednesday evening (10/25) during the annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner, Audacy/Detroit SVP/Market Manager Debbie Kenyon was honored with a Marconi for Legendary Radio Manager.

WOOD-TV (Grand Rapids) made it official this past Wednesday, formally announcing the appointment of Brad Kessie as the television station’s news director. Kessie joins the station from WLOX-TV in Biloxi, Mississippi. He brings 14 years of news directing experience, overseeing a market leading, award-winning content team at WLOX-TV. 

McKibbin Media Group (MMG) has announced that it has launched a new Morning Show on its flagship station, WKHM-FM (K105.3 FM) (Jackson). The K105.3 Morning Show will now feature Jared (Jrod) Hammond and newly hired Micki Morgret as co-hosts of the show, bringing a new flare and excitement to the program.  

Cumulus Media has announced that it has appointed Brian Vander Ark as On-Air Host, Afternoons, for Classic Rock station 97 LAV/WLAV-FM (Grand Rapids). Vander Ark, a native of West Michigan, is best known as lead singer and songwriter of Rock band, The Verve Pipe.
