Sean Mahon

Veteran Michigan broadcaster Sean Mahon has joined Allen Media Group's WJRT-TV (Flint) as Assistant News Director.  Mahon is known for his years as News Director at WWTV/WWUP-TV in Cadillac (2016-2021) as well as his 11 years at WDIV-TV (Detroit), where he served in a variety of roles from Photojournalist, Editor to Live Truck operator and MMJ.

Prior to joining WJRT, Allen served the last year as Senior Managing Editor at Spectrum News in Madison, Wisconsin.  He resume also includes stops at WXYZ-TV and WWJ-TV, both in Detroit.

Mahon graduated from Central Michigan University in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism.
