Beasley Media Group's WCSX-FM (Detroit) has sadly reported the unexpected passing of the station's "Over Easy" host Scott Shepard.  Shepard spent 20 years at the station and died at his home in Warren this past Saturday (11/12).  He was 59.

Shepard also managed the station's public affairs programming.

He graduated from Clawson High School in 1981 and attended college at Western Michigan University. In his published obituary its noted that Shepard loved hockey, football and baseball, playing all sports until his late teen years. He especially loved all the sports at University of Michigan. Scott was a member of the FOE club in Clawson.

In lieu of flowers, his family would prefer donations in his name to either the Wounded Warrior Project or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
