Midwest Communications/Lansing has announced that veteran Lansing air personality Stephanie McCoy has joined its WWDK-FM (94.1 DUKE FM) as morning host effective March 27.

MWC Lansing OM Terry Stevens commented, "Stephanie McCoy is a media legend in this area...a perfect fit for The Legends of Country, 94.1 Duke FM. We are excited to welcome her to our team and look forward to building The Duke's presence in this region."

Market Manager Mark Jaycox added, "Midwest Communications founder, Duke Wright, always talked about the importance of "strong localism" with his radio properties...and in that spirit, MWC Lansing is pleased to welcome another powerhouse talent to our lineup of top-notch radio personalities with the addition of Stephanie to the 94.1 Duke FM morning drive post. Stephanie's warm personality, fun demeanor and strong ties to the Mid-Michigan marketplace...combined with her love for Classic Country music, make her a perfect addition to The Duke family."

McCoy added, "I am so happy to be back on the air here at Midwest Communications! Thank you to Mark Jaycox, Terry Stevens and the Midwest Communications – Lansing team for the opportunity to be a part of great radio. I’m looking forward to waking Mid-Michigan up and to having a great time with our listeners on 94.1 Duke FM."

McCoy spent 22 years at crosstown WITL-FM in mornings, teamed with "Banana" Don Jefferson.  She left WITL in July of 2020, then spent nearly two years as co-host of an afternoon lifestyle program on WILX-TV.  She most recently was Community Partner Liaison with the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

McCoy is a Michigan native who grew up in Centreville, earning a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Western Michigan University. She’s worked in several markets including Grand Rapids and Fort Wayne.
