Jacobs Media to Present CES 2024 Recap for Broadcasters

January 26, 2024

CES is BACK! After a couple of recovery years following the pandemic where the live version of this event was cancelled in 2021, CES 2024 was back on track. Huge crowds of teeming tech fans jammed the Las Vegas Convention Center and the show’s other venues to see the latest and greatest in gadgetry, technology, and innovation.

While the Consumer Technology Association has not released its official totals, the best guesstimate is that well north of 130,000 made the trek to Sin City for the biggest electronics show on earth.

For the fifth year, two dozen broadcasters joined Jacobs Media on a private, curated tour of CES. During the tour, they visited displays from Amazon, Mercedes Benz, LG, Xperi, and even a flying car from Xpeng.

Jacobs Media will once again present a free, live webinar: “CES 2024: The Year of AI.” It takes place on Thursday, February 8 at 2 p.m. Eastern. Fred Jacobs will present a fast-paced summary of the new technology that will impact the radio industry in the coming years.

The webinar is designed for broadcasters, programmers, marketers, and advertisers who want to learn more about the current and future state of media in an AI-driven world.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Emerging technologies that are changing the media landscape
  • Radio's role and opportunities in the connected car ecosystem
  • Data-driven personalization and how AI will influence listener behavior and preferences

"CES continues to be an eye-opening experience that reveals the incredible potential and challenges of tech for radio broadcasters," said Fred Jacobs, president of Jacobs Media. "We are excited to share our findings and insights with our webinar attendees and help them navigate the rapidly changing media landscape."
