Interlochen Public Radio's "Classical IPR" service has announced the arrival of Emma Stadelmann as its new afternoon host and digital content producer.  Before coming to IPR, she hosted jazz and classical programs for KCCK-FM in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and WSND-FM in South Bend, Indiana. At IPR, Stadelmann will host "Afternoon Classical" and the "Well-Tempered Commute," and she will also manage Classical IPR's digital content such as social media, email newsletters and mobile apps.

She holds a BA in Philosophy and English and MA in English from the University of Notre Dame, where she focused on media studies, narrative theory and video games.

"Emma is an experienced radio host who brings a great amount of knowledge to this role," said IPR's music director Amanda Sewell. "She is thoughtful and creative, and we can't wait to see what fresh ideas and innovations she brings to Classical IPR's service."

Her first live on-air Afternoon Classical shift was Wednesday, June 3.
