WKQI’s Mojo Nominated for Radio Hall of Fame

May 16, 2025

Longtime WKQI-FM (Detroit) morning host Mojo, who leads the Mojo in the Morning Show, has been nominated for induction into the Radio Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class. The personality was previously nominated in 2022 and 2024.

Mojo is part of a class of 24 nominees that also includes Alice Cooper, D.L. Hughley, Funkmaster Flex and Martha Quinn. Eight inductees will join this year's Hall of Fame class, six chosen by voters, and two by the Radio Hall of Fame's nominating committee.

Ballots are to be sent out later this month to the nearly 1,000 industry members who make up the Radio Hall of Fame's voting body. Winners will be announced on June 30, and the induction ceremony will be held October 30 in Chicago.

Mojo, 54, is currently in his 25th year as host of "Mojo in the Morning."  The show is also broadcast in Grand Rapids and Toledo.

The Radio Hall of Fame was established in 1988 and honors individuals and programs who have contributed significantly to the medium of radio.
