MediaBrew Communications Spreads Holiday Cheer to Local Veterans

November 21, 2025

MediaBrew Communications in Marquette (WFXD-FM/WKQS-FM/WRUP-FM) is reaching out across Marquette County to help spread holiday cheer to local veterans.  The company's 23rd Annual “Christmas is for Veterans” gift drive is underway, helping the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans.  The MediaBrew stations are asking the community to help gather items from their 2025 veterans Christmas wish list, posted on www.sunny.fm and www.wfxd.com.

These include personal care items, MarqTran bus tickets, comfortable clothing, and more.

“These are the added comfort items if you will, something that would’ve been brought in by a niece or nephew, grandson or granddaughter,” said MediaBrew Marketing Manager, Mark Evans in an interview with WZMQ-TV. “They have everything that they need, these are those items that take it to that next level.”

Evans says that time and time again, the drive gathers a wide amount of support from listeners.

“Every year is better than the last,” he said. “For every veteran who is out of the home, there’s another one or two coming in, so there are always veterans with those needs around the holidays.”

Through Wednesday, December 17, listed items can be dropped off at the MediaBrew Communications studios in Marquette or at Super One Grocery store locations in Marquette and Negaunee.
