Michigan Public Brings The Moth Mainstage to Ann Arbor on June 27

Michigan Public and Michigan Theater will present a live performance of The Moth Mainstage in Ann Arbor on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 8 p.m. The Moth Mainstage features a line-up of writers, performers, and other unique national and Michigan storytellers, each with a 10-minute story to tell live without notes.

WMOM Raises 18k+ with “Festival of Lights”

Hit Radio Media’s WMOM-FM/WHCH-FM (Ludington) has announced that it raised $18,469.71 with its “Ludington Area Festival of Lights,” held from November 27 through December 29.  The announcement came January 9 during a presentation at Safe Harbor Credit Union in Ludington. A key highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of checks to four local non-profits, who together received 50% of the gate proceeds.

WWTV/WWUP-TV to Launch “Beyond the Forecast”

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
