Jade Springart Promoted to Director of Rock Programming at Beasley Media Group Detroit

Beasley Media Group announced yesterday (6/5) that WRIF-FM (Detroit) Program Director Jade Springart has been promoted to Director of Rock Programming at the company’s Detroit cluster. In her new role, Springart will add legendary Classic Rock station 94.7 WCSX-FM to her programming duties. She will begin her new position immediately.

RadioInk Magazine has announced its 2024 list of the 75 most influential women in radio for and two Michigan broadcasters have made the list. Audacy/Detroit SVP and Market Manager Debbie Kenyon and Lenawee Broadcasting President and GM/Southeast Michigan Media Owner/President/GM Julie Koehn received the honors from the magazine.

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
