WMYD Joins the CW Network

November 10, 2023

Scripps Media has announced that its WMYD-TV (Detroit/TV20) will bring CW Network primetime programming back to the market starting on November 13.

CW Network programming from 8 – 10 p.m. Eastern includes shows like “All American,” “61st Street,” “Whose Line Is it, Anyway?” and “Penn & Teller: Fool Us.”

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
