He wrapped up his career with a final broadcast and birthday live broadcast from the Old Town Playhouse in Traverse City. He was surrounded by more than 30 friends, family members, long-time colleagues and sources, including Grand Traverse County Sheriff Tom Bensley and Traverse City Mayor Richard Lewis.

WWTV/WWUP-TV (9&10 News) reporter Bill Froehlich, who worked with Franck for five years at WTCM, sat down with him to talk about his long career (and how he always wore a tie to work).  Watch below:
