Four Michigan public radio stations were recognized by the Public Media Journalists Association (PMJA). Each year, PMJA recognizes the best of local public radio news in a wide array of categories. Michigan Radio, WDET-FM. Interlochen Public Radio and WMUK-FM were honored.

The Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) has announced the recipients of the 2023 Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. The 9 Michigan broadcasters won a total of 18 awards in Region 7, which is shared with Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. Award recipients demonstrate the spirit of excellence that Murrow set as a standard for the profession of electronic journalism.
