Michigan Becomes the Fifth State to Require Disclosure of the Use of AI in Political Ads
Michigan’s Governor Whitmer just signed a bill that adds Michigan to 4 other states (Texas, California, Washington, and Minnesota) that have enacted laws requiring the clear identification of the use of AI in political ads.

The annual WLUC-TV (Marquette) TV6 Canathon has been underway since November 1 and that effort will continue through today, December 1. The Canathon is a month long effort to collect donations of canned goods to help feed a hungry neighbor.

Ahead of the December 12 deadline, users of Sage brand EAS equipment now have another 90 days to meet that pending FCC deadline for updating EAS firmware. Sage previously announced in early November that the update has taken them longer to produce than they had anticipated and that there will be insufficient time for many users to install the update by the deadline.
