WSGW Names New News Director
Alpha Media’s WSGW-AM/FM (Saginaw) has named veteran journalist Denyse Shannon as News Director. Shannon joins the morning team, anchoring the news desk and filling a vacancy left when Ann Williams retired last month.

On Friday, November 4 at 9:00 p.m., Graham Media’s WDIV-TV (Detroit) will debut the documentary “Going 4 It: The Inside Story of the Rise of WDIV.” which will air Friday, November 4th at 9 p.m.
The station was known as WWJ-TV from its 1947 sign-on (under the ownership of the parent company of the Detroit News) until it was sold on 1978 to the Post-Newsweek Corporation.
