Dave LewAllen announces retirement after 35 years at WXYZ-TV
In announcing his retirement January 25, LewAllen called WXYZ-TV the only station he ever wanted to work for in broadcasting, adding that he’s “been truly blessed to spend the majority of my career here. But the time is right for a next chapter.”

After a 47 year career in his hometown of Lansing, WFMK-FM Morning Personality Danny Stewart retired on January 31. Stewart has been with WFMK since 1991 after previous stints at WILS-AM from 1976-77 and WVIC-FM from 1977 to 1991.
