Wayne State University’s WDET-FM has announced that it is bringing Darren Revell’s “Big Sonic Heaven” back to the local market. The show previously aired in Detroit on 96.3 WPLT (now WDVD) from 1995 to 2003 and was later resurrected on Los Angeles radio from 2007-09.

A former anchor who held on‑air roles at both WJRT‑TV and WEYI‑TV in Flint has passed away at the age of 85. Jerry Taff, who later became a fixture to Milwaukee, Wisconsin viewers for over 25 years passed away October 27 in his home state of Texas.  He was 85.
