Hit Radio Media Launches WHCH-FM in Ludington

WLEN Radio Presented 2023 Celebration of Service to America Award

The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation recently awarded 103.9 WLEN Radio as the 2023 Celebration of Service to America Award winner for Small Market Radio. The Lenawee County community came together in the summer of 2022 to help the Associated Charities after an arsonist set fire to the building, severely damaging it during ‘the charities’ back to school program.

Site Safety Assessments

In an effort to help provide protection to broadcasters in Michigan, the MAB and Michigan State Police Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Desk are partnering to help broadcast stations ensure safety for their staff and facilities by offering Station Site Safety Assessments that will evaluate and make practical recommendations of security operations at broadcast stations.

Alternative Broadcast Inspections

The Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is a unique partnership between the MAB and the FCC to ensure compliance with federal regulations and to avoid surprise inspections. Stations that pass the inspection receive a three-year Certification of Compliance.
